Game Sequels

I was sitting around like I normally do and a friend came over and said I wish they would remake some of the game we used to play why back when. I said “Do you want the same game remade or a sequel”? He replied “Defiantly a sequel”.

So that got my mind a churning about what games I would really like to see a sequel of, and to be honest I sat there for a while and starting to think I was totally content, I don’t need no stinking game sequels!

Game Prequels?

Then I said wait a minute! What about one about Fallout before everyone got into those vaults that shows the whole story about why thing went wrong. My friend had to chime in again “wouldn’t that be a prequel”? Well my whole train of thought was gone again you damn prequels!

I guess that’s what I get for playing XCOM the Bureau, which is basically a prequel of the XCOM series that we know and love over here a Beer and Joysticks.

Game Sequels?

The easy answer for me was the Battlefield Series I loved 1941, 1942, why no 1943 or 1944? I thinking now with the great graphics of the current Battlefield series that would be very welcoming.

My idea would be “Battlefield 1944 The Tides of Change”, EA you have been told, now steal my idea and make this already.

That is just one of many ideas that I have for a game sequel, I could ramble on all day but I would like to know what game you would want to see made into a sequel.

So today I ask you, what game sequel would you like to see?

The gaming industry has gone sequel crazy. If something is a hit you can be sure that they will make a follow-up. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing more games in the Summoner series (Summoner 2 was excellent, yet under-rated) and I would be happy if they resurrected the Shadow Hearts franchise.

Yes Summoner would make a decent sequel, although I didn’t play it much I did watch a friend play it all the time
