Hotter Than Helles Lager

With a name like and cold weather on the horizon, this was an obvious choice to drink and pretend it was warm again outside.
Hotter Than Helles Lager pours a hazy dull golden straw to a yellow in color with a bone white head that is gone before you can even get a good look at it. You are left with a headless beer with very limited lacing. It looks of a dull ring around the outer portion of the glass.
Hotter Than Helles Lager smell slightly sweet with a touch of fruit, maybe an apple or a pear. On second smell you get more of a grainy, maybe a hint of hops to almost an alcohol smell.
On first drink Hotter Than Helles Lager tastes of sweet grains with a touch of grains that leads to some fruity lemon tastes that comes in the end. You will notice strong carbonation and the tangy tartness of the lemon coming in the end of your second drink.
Hotter Than Helles Lager is a super easy beer to drink that has great flavor for a summer afternoon with your toes in the sand.
Overall Hotter Than Helles Lager is a good beer that as decent flavor that isn’t bogged down or too complex. This recipe has the potential to be an excellent beer with a little tweaking in the flavor department.
