Nitro Milk Stout

Left Hand Brewing Company

I had to try this one out being as the stout lover that I am.  This beer pours a very dark and almost dull black color. The pour completes with a thick and rich creamy head, that will dissipate quickly to leave the dark colored drink headless and with creamy lacing on the sides of the glass.

The smell is of a very rich coffee to chocolate with notes of caramel. The taste can at times be very sugary with the coffee/toasted malt caramel to be the after taste. I guess a better way to describe it to be more of a rich mocha flavor.

This beer stands out is a very smooth and easy to drink beer with great tastes to warm all of your senses. This is a beer that any stout lover and beer lover in general will enjoy. Each and every drink brings you new flavors that makes your taste buds dance.

Without a doubt one of the better beers I have had in quite a while and well worth the price of admission. This get my highest recommendation for a beer.

Verdict 6 of 6

6pack

Glad to read that this is a good beer. I was just in Denver and bought a 6 pack, but I haven’t had time to drink any yet. I have been working on the River North bottles that I brought back instead … mmmm, J. Marie farmhouse ale.

I’ve had this in bottles a few times but had it on tap last night for the first time. It goes without saying that tap is better than bottle, but in this case, it’s even more true. Really a great beer.

After reading this article I definitely want to give it a shot. My favorite Milk Stout by far is by Lancaster Brewing Company. You should definitely give it a try and I’ll give this a whirl.
