Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout Review
As adamant stout lover they are very few stouts that get it all right. Most stouts are filled with that chocolaty, coffee, with a creamy smooth finish that is pure heaven when done right.
When I go to a pub and see stout on the menu more than likely I’ll give it a try to see if it is up to my standards very few make the list. So it has been a very long time since I have had a Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout so I decided this would be a good one to try out again for this review.

As you continue to pour the Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout the side have many colors with touches of brown to red as the liquid slows slide to the bottom of the glass, it settles to more of a darker color overall.
The smell of Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout is that of oatmeal with a touch of chocolate, and thick malty smell coming in strong at the end. The oatmeal and chocolate smells are telling you to drink this and stop wasting time here!
As you take your first drink of Samuel Smith’s Oatmeal Stout you get a heavy taste of oatmeal followed by rich tastes of coffee, chocolate and mild maltyness. This a very unique and rich taste that the seasonal or hobby would love to get, but you need years of practice to get something as amazing as this flavor.
This one well balanced stout that has all the flavors you could ask, truly your mouth and taste bud are giving you a standing ovation.
