Stranger American Pale Ale

Left Hand Brewing Company

This is a beer that have never heard of so I thought it would be worth a try and should make a good pairing with the BBQ we were planning.

This beer pours golden amber in color. The beer is hazy as if it was a wheat based beer. Has a white capped head with a tad more carbonation than the average pale ale would have normally.

The smell is familiar as with most pale ales rich grains with a hoppy after smell. There is also some hint of citrus and pine in some whiffs.

To the most important stuff the taste. At first drink you tongue says hey this is nothing more than a pale ale bitter with bready, malty, grainy taste throughout, but as you savor this beverage you start to get the citrus and pine in the end.

This has a really unique taste that is a very nice mix of flavors that you normally wouldn’t get all in one beer.

This is a great compliment beer with a burger or a steak from the grill. I’m really happy that tried this offering from Left hand Brewing. This is what I expected at all in a pale ale.

Overall it’s a balanced very crisp malty to bready taste that is very enjoyable. This is a beer that I will try again thanks to its unique flavors.  If you looking for a new beer to try Stranger American Pale Ale is a great place to start.
