Guild Leader

The Guild Leader has had enough!

I got a question from a friend of mine the other day that asked what happens when a guild leader is done playing a game and quits? This happens from time to time, but normally a guild leader should and can use some common sense when they get ready to leave a game.

No warning!

Well this is worst thing that could happen if a guild leader walks away without giving any warning that their all done with a game. Not sure why this happens but it does, maybe the guild leader is over whelmed, has problems outside the game, or is embarrassed of the failure to lead.

The guild should come together and find someone to take charge of the guild. It’s time for the remaining officers to take charge. If you work as a team you can save it all, if not for yourself then at least for your follow guild members.

Best solution the 2nd in command takes over and guild goes on without a hitch, or maybe an officer is up to the challenge. If that doesn’t work then it’s time for someone else to step in and lead.

Then I would go about having either an election or something along those lines to find the next leader. If you feel strong enough about the guild step in and lead. A lot of time when a guild leader leaves not long after the guild breaks up or joins another guild.

Normally when a guild leader doesn’t log in for a long time, the guild will already be in a desperate state unless the guild was well organized in the beginning.

In most cases you will see members leaving for other guilds that back there playing style, or they might even quit playing themselves.

Once again if this happens there should be information in the charter that handles this and lays out plans for the guild to place a new guild leader. If not then someone should take command if possible and lead as best they can.

I have had enough!

The present guild leader has given a warning he’s has an enough and is ready for someone else to take over before he quits.

This actually a good thing! The warning was given and now it’s time to find the next leader. The guild has enough warning to get organized and to make the right decisions to get a new guild leader without too much fuss.

Even if you guild leader wants to call quits with good organization and some effort you can save the guild and make it thrive again.
